ZIp, Zap, Zop is a competitive improv game. The object is to eliminate players by quickly passing a zip, a zap, or a zop in that order to another person in the circle. Players are eliminated if they say a word out of sequence, ie zip a zap. Players are also eliminated if they hesitate too long. Once eliminated, players remain in the circle. If another player picks them, that player is also eliminated. This game improves memory because the players must use the proper sequence, and as the game progresses, remember who is out. It also improves listening and response skills by forcing the players to remember the sequence of words and passing the appropriate response quickly to another player.
