Pokemon Colosseum was something very new for the Pokemon franchsie to try when home consoles were getting more powerful and offering new avenues to explore multiple video game properties. While Pokemon would have many titles on home consoles, none of them would venture to be like the handheld RPG experience until Nintendo released the GameCube and The Pokemon Company was ready to venture into a new territory with Pokemon Colosseum.
