Are you struggling to write the introduction for a scientific paper? First-time authors of a scientific article are often uncertain about what goes into the introduction and how to structure it. In a previous video, I presented a simple formula and an example to guide an author in crafting an introduction that clearly explains what they studied and why it’s important. In this video, I provide more examples and elaborate a bit more about writing the introduction for a scientific paper.
00 Intro.
33 Three parts of the introduction.
 00 Example 1.
29 What is the research topic and why is it important?
36 What is known and what is needed (literature review)?
22 What are the objectives and basic approach?
38 Example 2.
15 Final thoughts.
