I walk through the common commands of the nano text editor in a Linux terminal. This took me a while to figure out, so I hope this helps! Note for Mac users, Alt is equivalent to Cmd. Here's a list of the commands I walk through:
Alt + 6 is copy
Ctrl + u is paste
Alt + u is undo
Alt + e is redo
Ctrl + w is search for text (where is) - hold alt and use up/down arrows to find next/previous instance
Alt + 3 is comment/uncomment a line in a script
Ctrl + O is how to save the changes.
