1/1/1 LC is a three stitch cable that moves the left stitch across the top and over the other two stitches, but the middle stitch does not move and is left as a purl stitch. This is great for use as a very decorative cable, but there are a couple steps involved to achieve it, because there is more than one crossing in the completed stitch.
