This is one of our BEST water sites where there used to be an old landing, river crossing, merchant site, and hotel. WOW! So much history over a long period of time. This day Mark and I received permission to metal detect the yard of the beach house where all this history took place. The house that sits there now is 100+ years old but the land goes back 300+ years. So any time period is in play. We found so many amazing coins and relics that I killed the battery in my camera and my metal detector! This is part 2 of this Absolutely Amazing day Metal Detecting.
