Today I am making a BBQ Classic, Southern Baked Beans but with a Twist; this Dish has French Fried Onions, BBQ Sauce, and Crushed Pineapple for a deliciously Unique Flavor! This will be a Hit at your Memorial Day BBQ and for the Summer; this will fly off the table in no time! This will be your new Baked Beans go to Recipe!!

Ellen’s No Bake Summer Berry Cheesecake Lasagna: [ Ссылка ]
4 (16 oz) cans pork and beans, (drain a little of the liquid)
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 bell pepper, washed and chopped (any color)
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 cup bbq sauce (any flavor)
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 (6 oz can) french fried onions (reserve a little for the top, chopped)
1 (20 oz can) crushed pineapple, drained
Kosher salt and white or black pepper, to taste
5 strips cooked bacon, chopped (for the top)
Cook’s Note: You can also add it cooked ground beef or turkey, smoked sausage, or chicken breast.
Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, add pork and beans, brown sugar, bell pepper, molasses, maple syrup, bbq sauce, dijon mustard, french fried onions, crushed pineapple, salt and pepper and cooked meat, if using; stir everything until well incorporated (taste for more seasoning). Pour and spread the bean mixture into the prepared baking dish then sprinkle with chopped bacon and french fried onions on top. Bake for 1 hour until beans are bubbly. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack for a 10 minutes and serve.
