Paralyze Any Size Attacker by Following Their Force and Using Arm Locks as Counter Attacks - Effective Open Hand Fight Techniques for Street Fighting/ Anti Bullying/ MMA Style Fighting.
CAUTION/ WARNING: Please note that these moves are extremely dangerous and cause serious injury/ bodily harm including breaking of bones and should not be used unless there is a serious threat to someone’s life requiring extreme measures of self defense.
TOM CAT 1 (Left Side)/ TOM CAT 2 (Right Side): Defense against upper body frontal attack and then using arm locks as counter attacks to paralyze the attacker.
AREAS ATTACKED: Upper body (Chest, Face and/or Head area)
FEET MOVEMENT: Similar to Tom Cat 1 &2 feet movement, initial first steps for these locks involve forward smooth motion towards the attacking arm (into the attack rather than moving back and movement is towards shoulder of the attacker)
STANCE: Back Stance
DISTANCE: Depending on the height of the defender, foot placed close to the leg of the attacker (outside of the attacking foot) by engaging hip and shoulder to maximize power.
STEPS EXPLAINED:
1- The person being attacked does not back off or resist/ struggle against the force of the attack and rather moves towards the person attacking him/her. The movement consists of simultaneous movements of one of the feet and same side hand in such a way that body automatically gets out of the line of attack. The foot on the side of the attack moves forward with toes slightly bent inward for the next steps. Just this movement of the foot will help the person being attacked get out of the line of direct hit. Note that the hand on the side of the attack moves upward at the same time when the foot moves forward and is gently pushing or deflecting the attacking arm further out of the way. This also gets the attacker out of balance. The key is not to push or exert any force and rather let the attacker use his /her own force to become out of balance.
2- After applying defense technique mentioned in step 1 above, the attacker's would miss the hit and would be pulling back their extended arm/ gaining their balance. At this point use your palm and fingers which are already on attacker's arm to grab their fist and follow their force back towards their shoulder. Push their arm backwards using your hand and lock it further using your own body force. You can use your other hand to grab their elbow and over extend their arm to completely paralyze them.
3- After completing step 1 above, grab the attacker's fist using your fingers/ palm while attacker's punching arm is still fully extended and lift it up. Now twist the attacker's lifted hand outwards (away from your body) and quickly bring it under your armpit while simultaneously moving your back foot behind the attacker. Lock the attacker's elbow with your elbow and lift up the attacker's arm to totally lock the attacker.
4- After completing self defense in step 1, follow attacker's force while they are in the process of pulling their arm back. Use your palm/ fingers which are already on the attacking arm to lift up the attacker's hand and then slide your other hand in between attacker's lifted arm and shoulder. At the same time move your back foot behind attacker's legs and totally lock attacker's hand, arms and shoulder.
5- After completing self defense step 1 above, switch the hand on the attacking arm with your other free hand. Now slide the hand which just got freed up in between your own arm (which is still engaged with attacker's hand) and attacker's arm. This will completely lock the attacking arm.
