Seasoning clay pot is a simple 2 step process and the second step is optional.
1) Soak the clay vessel for 8 hours in starch water in order to remove the smell of clay.
2) After drying, apply a coating of any cooking oil and leave it for 8 hours. This step is optional. The clay ware is ready to be used directly on the stove after this.
Though potters are in plenty, we travelled in search of clusters that have a rich history following traditional techniques of making.
