U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening delivered a speech to young Americans at a rally in Phoenix, Ariz. During the speech, the President of the United States once again referred to COVID-19 as the "Kung Flu."
Three days earlier during a rally in Tulsa, Okla. the president referred to COVID-19 as the "Kung Flu" as he went on to list a number of terms he's heard describing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Critics have blasted the term as racist and insulting. Trump's press secretary defend his use of the term as being in retaliation for accusations that U.S. service members were originally responsible for the spread of COVID-19 in China.
