Jeep Wrangler YJ - Testing the Throttle Position Sensor. Remember, even though mine is a little high on the low side voltage. The main thing you need to check for is you are getting voltage at all. The WOT voltage is below 5 volts. Idle voltage just above .2 volts. Also, as you open the throttle slowly you gain voltage smoothly. At any point it drops voltage as you are gradually opening the throttle. Replace with a new TPS. There it is ..perrty simple! Thanks an don't forget to subscribe and gimme a thumbs up! Thanks yall!!
