Healthy soup recipe for immune system ! Greek chicken soup with avgolemono (egg lemon sauce)
Greek chicken soup in Winter is a must ! It is a very healthy soup, full of vitamins and it is delicious! The children will love it! Just give it a try, it is not so difficult to prepare it!
INGREDIENTS:
For 4 servings
- 700 g chicken meat (chicken breast or chicken legs)
- 2 litres of water
- Some leek (optional you can also replace it with onion)
- 1 Laurel leaf
- Celery roots or stalks
- 2 carrots

- 80-100 g rice
- some water
1 tbs lemon juice
1 chopped onion
---------------------
For the egg lemon sauce (avgolemono)
- 2 eggs
- some lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- optional you can add some curry
