Ronnie Wood and Mark Ronson discuss the legendary soul vocalist Amy Winehouse. Mark talks about working with Amy and the Dapkings band, and producing her 'Back To Black' album, as well as how Amy's hit cover of The Zutons' 'Valerie' came about for Mark's 'Versions' album.
It began as a Curtis Mayfield type cover, but Mark asked the Dapkings to try one more time with a beat like The Supremes' 'You Can't Hurry Love', and that's the take that finally came out!
This clip is taken from The Ronnie Wood Show, an award-winning TV series first broadcast on Sky Arts. Every episode features top artists joining Ronnie for impromptu jamming, lively chat and reminiscing about the wild days of rock'n'roll.
