Onion Thogaiyal is a simple and can be easily made. It is used as Side dish for Idly/Dosa. It can be given to Kids too as it is less spicy
Ingredients
1) Onion
2) Urad Dal
3) Tamarind
4) Dry Red Chilli
5) Salt
6) Oil
7) Asafoetida Powder
Method for Preparation
1) Pour Oil in pan and wait till it gets heated
2) Deep fry the dal until it gets golden
3) Toss the red chillies until its fluffy
4) Toss the onion until it turns light brown
5) Add Tossed Chillies, Onion, Fried Dal, Salt, Asafoetida and Tamarind in mixing Jar and blend it to Fine Paste.
