End november 2023, we had a blasting tramontana week in La palme speed spot in France. For those who dont know, this is the spot where the POS Prince of Speed is running every year. Fantastic violent natural spot.
Last tramontana day was super violent, we had to stay on the shore for 4 hours before we could exploit the spot. Before that it was simply suicidal in this offshore wind.
I managed to break my Personal Record top speed, 2sec and 100meters.
50.07 knots at only 18y old... Not bad :)
Figures on gps speed surfing are slightly different as I uploaded the value from my 2nd gps motion and it has slightly higher figures.
I used my point7 ac1 speed 5.0, avboard modena custom 40cm, Chopper fin asymetric proto 20cm.
