How to Make a Grooving Plane with Hand tools and Oak
I was in need of a grooving plane for an up coming project So I decided to take the plunge and make my own Hand plane to cut a 1/4" groove. This was made from a Log of White pine I found in my back yard. It was a learning experience but in the end I could not be happier! This grooving plane will last along time and be something I can pass along to my kids. A huge thank you to Paul Sellers for the method and Idea. and an incredibly large thank you to Mike in TN for tools and so much help!
