This television commercial for Imperial Sugar demonstrates an apple pie recipe found on the back of Imperial brown sugar boxes. The Kempner family established the Imperial Sugar Company in 1905. Though sugar has not been refined at the original plant since 2003, the company's headquarters remain in Sugar Land, making it the oldest extant business in Texas.
