Swing, Noise, Surf, Brodway-type bizarre musicals, Hip-Hop and vocal intensity with carnaval arrangements is just a hint of what you can hear Descartes a Kant´s music. Born in 2001 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the band mixes theatrics with experimentation, energy with melodic sweetness and dissonance. The band has served as supporting act in Mexico for artists such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sonic Youth, The Melvins, Cansei de ser Sexy, Slayer, The Horrors, Stereo Total, etc. Descartes a Kant has two long play albums: "Paper Dolls" (2007) and "Il Visore Lunatique" (2012), as well as a Lou Reed tribute EP "New York Telephone Conversation" (2014), all of them produced by Discos Intolerancia.
