Investigators in Lynnwood are asking for the public's help in locating the weapon used during a deadly shooting at the Alderwood mall last week.
Police said anyone who voluntarily turns the gun in will not be arrested.
“There will be no arrests made with the turning in of that weapon because we are more interested in getting that firearm off the streets so it’s not used in another violent crime," Maren McKay a police spokesperson told KOMO News.
Samuel Gizaw is the 16-year-old who is charged with murder for the July 3 shooting that killed 13-year-old Jayda Woods-Johnson.
