It's a love/hate relationship.
The Acer XB273K GP (sometimes known as Acer XB3) is a great looking monitor. It's 4K, 144Hz, G-Sync compatible, AND HDR400. The feature list on this thing is longer than the ten commandments. And it definitely delivers on all those features. But a monitor is more than the sum of its features.
The Acer XB3 looks great, but it's a troubleshooting nightmare. Having HDR on makes Windows hate me, and if it's paired with other monitors, I have to make sure there's a space between them so I can turn the XB3 off and on so they all turn on.
Luckily, anyone who would want this monitor is probably also a troubleshooting monster like me, so maybe won't mind constantly plugging, unplugging, turning on, off, resetting G-Sync, and all that. My main question though, is who do I blame? Microsoft or Acer?
EDITOR NOTE: Someone in the comments notified me that the monitor is GSYNC COMPATIBLE, not GSYNC. So it's made to work with GSYNC but it's not actually GSYNC. Maybe a fully GSYNC monitor works better? Lemme know in the comments if your fully GSYNC monitor works perfectly for you!
