Jahrhunderts erbaut.

South of Munster and the west of Ahlen ia thi city located, in Low German Language the name of Drensteinfurt is Stewwert. Over 15,000 people live here.
851 Even the small town was first mentioned. The heyday Drensteinfurt probably between 16th to 18th Century, when many of today's sights were given by the gentlemen in Steinfurt house in order. In the World War II the town had several bomb attacks, the medieval buildings intact until then almost completely lost.
Three sites are in the focus of the video. On the floor of the neoclassical church of St. Regina already in 1170 the first fortified church was built. The present building was built from 1783 to 1785. 1889/90 it was expanded by two aisles.
The "Old Post" is the most important timber-framed town house in the city. The house was probably already in 1647 and was primarily a trading company.
The house is unfortunately Steinfurt privately owned and inaccessible. Unlike the castle grounds, which for me but was not really for pleasure, because it was raining cats and dogs. The house is located on thesouth bank the Werse Steinfurt . The manor house of the castle was the beginning of the 18th Century built.
