Leigh Gadek said her dog, Milo, was in the backyard on April 18 when he was shot.

She and her daughter applied a tourniquet to Milo's leg and brought him to get medical treatment. She said the vet told her it's a miracle he survived.

Milo's leg was amputated due to his injuries.
