There are many ways to use this concept. This was one way of using it, but having these cycles in mind gives us an edge by waiting for the right phase to enter the market. This will help in avoiding overtrading, as you can only trade 2 phases of the 4 cycles. It could also make us miss some moves while waiting for the right cycle. But in the long term, benefits outruns the downsides.
