Lipo vs. Tummy Tuck: which one is right for you? I see a lot of patients in my practice who are looking into liposuction but would be a better candidate for a tummy tuck. I also see a number of patients who have been told they need a tummy tuck but are perfectly satisfied with the results from lipo.

Different surgeons will have different opinions and some may insist on tummy tucks where I would offer a patient the option of liposuction – with some important caveats.
