We're installing a Noctua NH-L9i in this HP Elitedesk 800 G3 SFF computer to see if it is an improvement over the terrible stock cooler. This install requires modifying the case, but is very easy to do and offers a cheap upgrade for these already cheap computers.
The processor is a 65 watt TDP i5 6500, which the Noctua NH-L9i is perfect for, but will the lack of airflow through the case be a problem? Yes, obviously yes.
