Discover in part one a short unboxing of this budget mic. First I go over some of its technical specs and then I will show you what is inside the box.
In part two I connect the NW-800 to my Yamaha mixer via an XLR cable to test the sound. Make sure to use the 48V phantom power to get the best results out of this microphone.
I also compare the Neewer against the extremely popular Shure SM58, so you can listen to the reference sound and get a good idea of the performance both mics deliver.
In part three I summarize what I have learned from comparing these two very different microphones. Basically, a dynamic mic seems to be much better suited for ... let's say on stage use, while the condenser mic seems better for use at home or in the studio.
