Weighing only 9kgs this chain mortiser is perfect in the workshop but also on erected roof structures & renovations of old buildings. The long guide plate has a wide adjusting range & permits work even on large timbers.
Only a few modifications are required & the LS103 is ready to cut grooves for gutter supports for example. The new chain stretching system of the LS103 allows a quick exchange of the chain set & a re-tightening of the chain without removing the chain guard.
When working at depths of 150mm we highly recommend the purchase of the FG150 support which ensures that the cut remains square.
