Faux fur is an excellent material for making doll wigs. I use it primarily for my ball jointed dolls. The process is very simple and the faux fur is very forgiving. I apply hot glue to the underside of the finished wig for three reasons:
1. to seal the stitches,
2. to seal the pen or pencil marks and
3. the hot glue essentially removes the need for a silicone wig cap.
