Is this an Auditing first. I explain that Thin Blue Line Gang badges have been banned amongst the Met Police and that people find it offensive. Within minutes the PC has removed the badge and back out on patrol.
I congratulate him for this action as it shows a great deal of courage from a young PC to be selfless and understand that members of the public do not want Police Officers to be walking around with a defaced Union flag on their uniforms.
