Chilli, Lime & Garlic Pickle/ Mom's Recipe/ Super tasty
Everyone loves pickles, especially the ones that made by their mothers or grandmothers. There's some magic in their hands that makes the pickle extraordinary. Here's one of my mom's recipe of this mixed pickle with Chili, Lime & Garlic. It’s delicious and my favourite. The three main ingredients Chili, Lime & Garlic complement each other so well and add flavour to each other making it outstanding and delicious. The pickle can be stored outside for 3 months and in fridge for about six months.
INGREDIENTS:
Green chillies- 25-30 nos (200gms)
Lime- 2 no (large)
Garlic- 20 cloves
Turmeric- 1 tsp
Asafoetida/ hing- 1 tsp
Salt 4-5 tsp
Oil- 1 cup (1/2 cup if you want less oil, but store in fridge)
Spices:
Cumin/Jeera- 2 tsp
Mustard seeds- 3 tsp
Coriander seeds- 2 tsp
Fenugreek/ Methi seeds- 1 tsp
Funnel seeds/Sauf- 2 tsp
Ajwan- 1 tsp
Dry roast all the spices and coarse grind them.
Preparation Time- 30-40 min
