Special Mutton Karahi Recipe Of Gul Shinwari Restaurant Highway Hyderabad
To make restaurant-style Mutton Special Karahi,
Ingredients:
- 500g mutton, cut into pieces
- 2 large onions, finely sliced
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup oil or ghee
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat oil or ghee in a karahi or deep pan.
2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
5. Add mutton pieces and brown them on all sides.
6. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
7. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
8. Pour in beaten yogurt and cook until the oil separates.
9. Add green chilies and garam masala, stir to combine.
10. Cover and simmer until the mutton is tender, adding water if needed.
11. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
