Suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna’s Advocate shed light on his arrest and at Bengaluru airport and in which case he was arrested. He also conveyed Prajwal Revanna’s to media of not turning the case into a media trial while interacting with the media.
Speaking to ANI, suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna’s Advocate Arun said, “He has come to Bangalore to appear before SIT to cooperate in the investigation. Yesterday as expected according to standard expected procedure, he was detained at Immigration Centre. His request to the media is that there should be no media trial. He asked to not to convict him before any hearing. He has been arrested in the Holenarasipura case...”
Notably, Prajwal Revanna was arrested at immigration centre of Bengaluru airport in the early hours of May 31 and was brought to the CID office in Bengaluru. He is expected to be produced before the Magistrate in the Special Court of People’s Representatives within 24 hours of arrest. The anticipatory bail application filed by Revanna earlier is also expected to be considered void as the JD (S) suspended MP has already been arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
