Philippine media reported that the Philippine Army received the first two units of the ASCOD Sabrah light tank it ordered from Israel's Elbit System. The first images of the Sabrah light tank were published on Social Media on December 19, 2022. It will enter service in the Philippine Army's Pambato Armored Division. According to MaxDefense Philippines, the two tanks arrived in December 2022, allowing Elbit Systems to meet its contractual obligations to deliver the initial batch by 2022, despite Elbit Systems requesting for time extension for the delivery deadline.
