Sheilah was raised in a poor family and didn’t own a toothbrush or receive dental care until she was 16. Eventually, she lost all her teeth and wore a plastic denture—a solution that aggravated her strong gag reflex. Sheilah isolated herself as a result of her poor dental health and was unable to afford a true solution that would give her the confidence to smile.
