For the best bathroom lighting, we recommend placing wall lights on either side of the mirror to cast an even glow onto your face. We think that lights that are 18" or less are best. Additionally, the best option would be a vanity mirror with a built in light.

You want to make sure that your lights have the proper lumens and color temperature. Look for bulbs and fixtures that have a color temperature between 4800-5000K and a lumen output of approximately 1000 lumens.

If you want to place a ceiling fixture in the bathroom, you can safely hang a chandelier or pendant light. They’re an ideal choice if you want decorative lighting and have a high ceiling that can take hanging light fixtures. Place them at least 3-feet from bathtubs and showers for safety.
