New Cookbooks In The Collection - Old Cookbook Unboxing
Welcome back to another episode of New Old Cookbooks! In today's show, we'll be unboxing some intriguing packages that just arrived from the post office. I love the anticipation of discovering what's inside these packages, and today we've got some interesting cookbooks to explore.

In this unboxing session, we delve into a couple of banana-themed books from the early 20th century, dating possibly from the 1930s or early 1940s. These books, originating from the fruit dispatch company, serve as fascinating historical artifacts, showcasing creative ways to enjoy bananas beyond the usual peel-and-eat routine.

Next up, we have a unique find—a promotional cookbook from the Ford Motor Company in 1950. Titled "The Ford Treasury of Favorite Recipes from Famous Eating Places," it features recipes from all over the United States and is a captivating marketing piece adorned with images of Ford automobiles.

Our collection also includes a church recipe cookbook, "Golden Jubilee Recipes 1886-1936," published in 1937 by the Ladies Aid Society of the Popler Hill Church of Christ in London, Ontario. As with many church cookbooks, it's filled with delightful baking recipes, providing a glimpse into the culinary preferences of the time.

Lastly, we received a mysterious package addressed to "Chicken," sparking a bit of humor and speculation. For those unfamiliar, Chicken is our cat, and we share aviation adventures on another channel.
