The Summit of the Americas got underway on Friday and saw Cuba participating for the first time in the history of the summit. Both the US and Cuban leaders used the opportunity to present their views on the best way to move forward. President Obama said he was ready to turn over a new leaf and President Castro thanked the US president for his courage.
