North Dakota’s Theodore Roosevelt National Park preserves the badlands, unique land formations, and wildlife that America’s conservation president, Theodore Roosevelt, enjoyed throughout his life, especially when he was grieving various losses in his life. We spend 24 hours enjoying the scenic drives in the north and south units of the park, meeting mule deer, prairie dogs, coyotes, feral horses, and bison along the way! We also enjoy a gorgeous sunset at Wind Canyon (south unit), walk through the overlook at Painted Canyon (south unit), and take a look at the unique concretions found in the park (north unit)! If you’re making a short visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park or want to see what it’s like, look no further!
