I first heard this song by Nora Brown on a tribute album for Doc Watson's 100th birthday. It is an abbreviated version of a hymn by Charles Wesley. This is my own banjo arrangement in G standard tuning (gDGBD), played out of an Em chord shape - based on how Nora Brown & Doc Watson sing it. It's a bit hard to hear the words because of the background noise from the wind and the stream:
And am I born to die?
To lay this body down,
And must my trembling spirit fly,
Into a world unknown?
Awaked by trumpet sound,
I from my grave shall rise,
And see the judge with glory crowned,
And see the flaming skies.
Soon as from Earth I go,
What will become of me?
Eternal happiness or woe,
Must then my portion be?
