So today I tried eating like Conor McGregor, one of the BEST MMA/UFC stars in the world for 24 hours.

So why did I decide to eat like Conor Mcgregor for a day? Because not only was the response to the “I ate like Cristiano Ronaldo for 24 hours” video great, I again have something whopper planned for the next video. Therefore, as I was scrolling through all your celebrity diet suggestions, I thought that Conor McGregor would suit perfectly and I’m not talking about his off-season diet here, I’m talking about his complete weight cut diet and training where he ramps up his training and dials in on his diet to really shed the last few pounds of body fat and get ripped. So we had the only eating biscoff as the last video so why not go back to a bit of a good ol full day of eating clean as can be for 24 hours.
Correct, as far as I could find, when trying to lose fat and weight to get into the lower weight classes, Conor McGregor is known for having an insanely strictly clean diet whereby he eats 5-6 times a day from purely clean whole foods like meat, fish, veggies and very few carbs, if anything he may have a sweet potato here and there but overall it seems to be a low carb diet in a relatively large calorie deficit while completely avoiding junk and fast food and the results show where Conor McGregor managed to dive down into that lower weight class and win his title again.
Conor McGregor also likely followed this diet and training in the lead up to his Floyd mayweather fight as again, he had to weigh in below 155lbs if im not mistaken.
Conor McGregor diet explained
Conor McGregor apparently isn’t a big breakfast fan and will wake up, drink water or green tee while stretching or performing some fasted cardio. For post workout Conor McGregor states that protein is crucial for muscle growth and repair so will supplement with a protein shake before then having his first proper meal which is usually a big omelette with a shot of espresso diluted with water.
As far as snacks go, again Conor McGregor’s choices are limited but he does seem to allow some fruit in his diet as a snack of as a preworkout snack for what is often another training session.
For lunch, Conor McGregor is again sticking to lean meats and veggies in particular green ones as he has been spotted to have an interest in the SIRT diet for which green veggies are on the list so in this case I went with broccoli and some beef
For dinner, again, usually low in carbs and high protein but as I was already in such a huge deficit by the end of the day decided to through in 1 sweet potato that Conor McGregor sometimes allows so we tried to replicate his pic where he was spotted feasting on rice, potatoes, green veg and chicken in tomato sauce.
So I thought to myself, although I eat clean on a daily basis, why not substitute my staple meals with his and try to replicate Conor MacGregor’s diet for 24 hours and dig deep into a deficit for what is an absolute peace of a video coming soon. So sit back, relax and enjoy watching me go through a full day of eating like Conor McGregor and dig... (it sucked tbh)
Again, I tried to bring back the vlog style to this one as, as far as challenges go, apart from being in the large deficit, this one wasn’t difficult at all as far as food choices go so let me know if you like that twist like the Cristiano Ronaldo vid or if you want me just stick to the theme of the other 24 hour food challenges where all I focus on is the food and meals without taking you throughout my day etc.
