Remember, as a child, you started by learning only one dialect's pronunciation - the pronunciation used by your family. Imagine how hard it would have been for you, how crazy it would have been, if your family had tried to teach you the phonetic systems of all dialects of your native language at the same time. So, now, instead, for starters, learn the phonetic system of only one Irish dialect so you don't drive yourself nuts. :-)
