Hands-on learning and industry collaboration bring teaching excellence to life in The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation Culinary Laboratory at the University of South Carolina. Immersing future hospitality management leaders in a world-class learning environment, the lab is a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and technology enhanced classroom. Led by innovative faculty at the University of South Carolina’s School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, this educational facility provides the perfect learning environment for range of interactive training and classroom instruction focused on food and beverage management, event planning, restaurant management, hotel operations and more. The new facility opened in 2020 and is located on the first floor of the Close-Hipp building on UofSC's Columbia, SC campus.
