Classic Spanish Bread
INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup powdered milk
1 cup water or milk
2 egg yolk
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup softened butter
2 tsp yeast
Bread crumbs for coating
Tangzhong mixture
3 tbs all purpose flour
1/2 cup water
Filling:
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup powdered milk
3/4 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter
NOTE!!!
Don't be afraid to add more flour if the dough is too wet or lessen the water because flours absorb different amounts of water and therefore make doughs of different consistencies.
