Shakkarpare is a crispy, flaky and sweet #IndianSnackRecipe. In this #Shakkarpare; sugar, ghee, cardamom powder is mixed together with maida and the dough is deep-fried in oil. Try out this crunchy #Shakkarapara with Cookd’s simple recipe. Do try this recipe and share your feedback with us.
Shakkarpare Recipe:
Maida - 3 Cup
Sugar - 1 Cup
Ghee - ¼ Cup
Water - ½ Cup
White Sesame Seeds - 1 tbsp
Cardamom Powder - ¼ tsp
Baking Powder - ¼ tsp
Oil - For Frying
Cooking Instructions:
1. In a bowl whisk together the water, ghee, sugar and cardamom powder to dissolve the sugar.
2. In another bowl, mix together the flour, sesame seeds and baking powder.
3. Add the liquid into the flour.
4. Knead a smooth dough and semi-soft dough
5. Rest the dough for 30 mins.
6. Roll the dough out thinly and cut then into strips, further cut into square shape.
7. Deep fry until golden brown.
Cooking Tips:
