Trackhouse Racing announced tonight that Shane van Gisbergen would be promoted from the Xfinity Series to the Cup Series in 2025. Trackhouse acquired a third charter, presumed from SHR and tapped SVG as the driver. SVG will drive the No. 88 car, bringing the number back for the first time since 2020 when Alex Bowman drove it.
