Kova Jangiri is a famous sweet in marriage functions. Its made with Urad dal and palkova. In this recipe, color wont be added while making Jangiri so it will be white in color. Its similar to Jangiri and Jalebi. Really tasty and simple recipe. Can be easily made instantly. Try this variant of Jangiri.

Ingredients:

For Kova
Milk - 1/2 Litre
Sugar - 2 Tbsp.
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp

For Jangiri:
Urad dal - 3/4 cup
Fresh curd - 2 tsp
Corn flour - 3 Tbsp.

For sugar syrup:
Sugar - 2 cup
Water - 1 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp

Procedure:

For Sugar syrup:
1. In a pan, add sugar and water. Let it boils.
2. Take sticky consistency and add cardamom powder.

For Kova:
1. Boil milk for 30 minutes and let it reduces.
2. After thickened, add cardamom powder.

For Kova Jangiri:
1. Soak Urad dal for 3 hours and grind it to smooth batter.
2. Add fresh curd and corn flour. Mix well.
3. In a piping bag(or a plastic cone or a Jangiri cloth), fill the prepared batter.
4. In a medium hot oil, make Jangiri's. Cook them and don't let it brown.
5. Soak in sugar syrup for 15 minutes.
6. Take out Jangiri's, spread prepared kova generously on it.
7. Garnish with nuts and enjoy.
