Ingredients required to make Karak chai,
½ cup water(Paani)
1 cup milk(Thoth)(fresh milk)
1 tbsp tea leaves(i used black tea powder)
1 tsp cardamom powder or 2-3 crushed cardamom(ilaayachee)
1 clove(laung)
1 small piece cinnamon(daalacheenee)
1 small piece ginger(adarak)
2 pepper corns(kali mirchi)
1 tbsp sugar or as per taste
Method of Preparation of Karak chai,
Add water to a saucepan and let it boil.
Add grated ginger, cinnamon, peppercorns, cloves and cardamom, let it boil.
simmer the stove and boil for a minute.
Add tea leaves or Tea powder,boil it.
Turn off the heat and cover the tea and rest it for 2 mins.
Now again turn on the stove, add the milk and sugar mix well.
Strain the tea into a glass or cup
Refreshing Karak chai is ready to serve.
