Let’s be realistic. In the digital world we live in today, everything is known. And what is not known, is found out with a single click on Google.
One of the most common mistakes in the pre-sale of real estate projects is not showing ALL the project information … Availability and prices are usually the “most hidden” concepts.
After talking to hundreds of developers, these are usually the most common responses:
“If we leave that public information, our competition will see it”
or
“We do not want the client to know the price until he contacts an advisor”
In the online world we live in, everything is known.
The “mystery shoppers” in the real estate sector, they exist!
Your competition knows what prices you are selling at, knows your project because they have visited your showroom or your stand at the fair; has explored your website or any other Ad in a real estate marketplace.
Your competition probably has your project brochure in their hands!
In the same way, a buyer has already found out everything about your company, has entered your website, social networks, has read reviews … has spoken with brokers or people in the sector, has investigated your reputation in the market and probably has friends or acquaintances who have bought an apartment in the same project. This is the power of the internet, social networks and the “virality” of information.
In other cases, we have seen that information is “omitted”, for example: the views of the apartment or the quality of the finishes.
Imagine it this way: When you buy a laptop from Amazon, you have absolutely all the features, specifications, prices and up-to-date availability at your fingertips. If you had to “contact an advisor” to find out the availability of a product, you would probably be too lazy to continue with the process …
The same should happen in the real estate world: buyers want to see all the information quickly, without having to contact any seller, at least in the initial stage where they are exploring options.
They want to feel that they have the control of being able to explore the entire project, know the availability, prices, area, views, balconies, amenities, furniture, nearby points … and, if they have any questions, there is no doubt that they will consult with your “facilitators ”.
At hauzd, we always recommend teaching all aspects of the project. Transparency in information speaks volumes about companies and generates credibility.
Take a look at this great project “City Center” in Colombia, where several filters have been implemented to give transparency to the buyer with all the centralized information in one place.
Congratulations to our partner Snapping for the creation of this project, it has been awesome!
