My DMs have been getting blown up by people asking me about this race between the Demon 170 vs Lucid Sapphire Air. After watching the video I feel like this race should have been much closer but the racing conditions were clearly in favor of the EV. Everyone knows that ICE cars perform much worse the hotter it is outside, the higher the elevation, and the humidity in the air all of which impact the performance substantially while EV cars don't need to contend with these same restrictions. Don't get me wrong, the Lucid Air Sapphire is an incredible and fast car which is why I am a little baffled by the race conditions were so stacked against the Demon 170...
