I was trying to make some shim bushings and found that if I alter a wood spade drill bit, I can ream out regular PVC pipes! This 3/4" PVC pipe now has an inner diameter of 7/8" instead of the original 3/4". So far, it works well on short lengths of PVC. May be good for coupling or changing pipe size without a special adapter.
